I think it was like four days we were working on that sequence and it was just me and no other actors and I was emotionally a mess. But I remember that I was lying there, in that med-pod, screaming and in so much pain and almost feverish and at the same time I kind of enjoyed it. Because working with Ridley, he’s so funny, and he came in and said, “You know, dude, I think your baby is kind of cute.” And I said, “Honestly!? Yeah!”

I saw “Alien” when I was thirteen and I was completely blown away by Sigourney’s character, Ripley. I remember that I had never seen anything like it. At that time, I was desperately looking for some kind of role model or people to look up to, and for me, what she did there was so stunning — she was so fearless and strong and sexy at the same time but not posing, not trying to be sexy. She was so modern and such a rebel. I was obsessed.

While I can’t speak for them, I think for Fox, once you’re sixty, you’re not going to be starring in an action movie. I think it’s too bad that that’s the case. I would have liked to do one last story where we go back to the planet, where Ripley’s history is resolved. But I do feel like her story is unfinished.
I could definitely kick that alien’s ass again.
