Okay. Explanation. I’m done working, but it’s too early to leave for the 7:10 showing of Avengers (I’m like a block from the theater), and I just got this 21 inch cintiq at work, and I just read this article: Stan Lee on Michael Jackson’s Desire to Buy Marvel and Play Spider-Man
I timed it. This was a ten minute doodle. I’m still trying to get used to drawing lineart in photoshop again after using Sai for so long.

![Kids give you the most honest feedback. My manager has two kids and they’ve come to all the premieres. So I asked, “Who’s your favorite, Captain America or Thor?” He goes, [putting on a boyish, American accent], “Well, you know, I’d give them both five stars.” He’s like, six years-old. I said, “What do you mean five stars? Both of them?” I thought because I knew him, I’d have the upper hand. But kids are smart. And we both got a good score. [Laughs]

Mark Ruffalo was talking about making the mistake of going online and reading things from the fanboys. But the negative things seem to get the most attention and even when they’re in the minority. The first thing I did was jump online. You kind of can’t help it. You scroll down to the comments and it’s much easier to be negative about something than it is to be positive. But, thankfully, since these films have come out, they’ve received a great response and it’s been mostly positive.
Let’s say the 12-year-old Joss Whedon has just found out he’s going to direct an “Avengers movie,” which character would he be most excited to work with?
Moon Dragon! Or the Beast. Because when I was 12, the Beast was actually one of the Avengers. That’s absurd, that’s a terrible answer.
